Latest Reviews of Rehabs in San Rafael, CA
Had my own bathroom and kitchen, you cook your own meals, shop for your food, although building is ran down, bed was comfortable. They made every possible effort to provide services that I needed.
Great client focused, multiple treatment methods Not quite able to address multiple issues (eating disorders and substance abuse and mental health Good, clean facility, caring staff)
I think the treatment is pretty effective. The program is for women and children, reuniting moms with their children who are in foster care or unborn. A lot of parenting skills are emphasized and a lot of families are reunited. We allow mothers to have their children in treatment with them. This is especially important for pregnant women with a history of using. Their baby would be removed at birth in most cases. By coming into treatment prior to giving birth, most of our babies are born drug free. The mother can return to the facility with her child and the support of our staff. We have an onsite pediatric nurse and a licensed nursery. We encourage breast feeding and bonding. Most of these women do not have a clue about being a mother and are eager to learn. Due to budget constraints we are unable to offer many "extra" curricular activities for the women. We do have yoga and acupuncture but there are so many cultural events that happen in our city that it would be awesome to expose these women to but this is beyond our budget.

Before choosing an appropriate treatment program, you will likely have many questions to help you make the best choice for your long-term sobriety. Choosing a program for your addiction is a key part of finding success in sobriety, so the following are some common issues to address in advance of beginning treatment, according to SAHMSA:
- Is your facility accredited? By whom?
- Do you have specialists to handle mental disorders along with addiction?
- How is long-term care achieved?
- How long will I be in treatment?
- Will I receive assistance as I go through withdrawal?
- Is medication part of the treatment program?
- How is success assessed?
- What is your success rate?
Answers to these questions can give you important information to choose the best possible facility for your needs.
*Relapse: Has Treatment Failed?
Addiction is a chronic condition, which means it must be dealt with on a daily basis. Many decisions will affect an individual's ability to stay sober every day, including their mental health issues, their diet, social groups, and family dynamics. In fact, in a comparison of relapse of chronic conditions by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, addiction ranked lower in relapse rates than asthma and hypertension.
Relapse can happen, and this simply means that addiction treatment must be started again. In some cases, other actions may need to be taken as well, such as treatment of other underlying mental health conditions.Find San Rafael Rehab Treatment Today
