Rose Rock Recovery Center

Strengths: Focus on source of problems and not the negative coping mechanisms we were abusing. Specifically focused on woman's issues. Weaknesses: No sugar or pop.It is a long term 3-6 month program where you and your fellow clients will work together to help and keep each other accountable. The facilitators and counselors are genuine honest woman who are in recovery themselves and truly care about helping.

This passion prompted Kevin to begin a career studying and understanding the various techniques in which to approach and treat patients with drug dependence. Through his many opportunities working in health care, Kevin has developed the understanding that addiction is a disease that needs to be treated with time, care, and understanding. As a member of long-term recovery himself, Kevin is able to promote the values of honesty and integrity in his daily practice.

Investigating West Covina Recovery Centers

When the economy begins to falter and people lose their jobs, rates of drug and alcohol addiction begin to rise.

If drug and alcohol abuse has hit your family hard during these tough economic times, drug rehab in West Covina is the best option. When your addicted loved one continues to live without treatment, the whole family is affected negatively:

  • Addicted breadwinners are often unable to find a new job or hold onto the one they have. Treatment can put them in a better position to find and maintain employment.
  • Less money is spent on drugs and alcohol, leaving the finite financial resources available for things like rent, food and clothing for everyone.
  • Those living with addiction are prone to acute and chronic health problems which can be expensive, taking money away from the family unnecessarily.
  • Many who have an addiction and a problem with finances often turn to crime to support their habit and their family – which in turn can lead to legal problems and possible jail time.

Advice on Entering a Rehab

Every year, a number of governmental agencies do surveys on drug use and abuse across the country to determine which substances are a problem, which age groups are most often experiencing abuse and addiction issues, and what the effects are in the community. Up until 2005, the rate of alcohol abuse and addiction in California was generally at or below the national average across all age groups. In 2006, however, the rate of alcohol abuse among those over the age of 26 – those most likely to have families, careers and responsibilities – was so high that their numbers were consistently among the top 10 states in the country, according to California Substance Abuse and Mental Health Issues At-A-Glance published by the Substance Abuse and Mental health treatment Administration (SAMHSA).

Whatever the cause of this increase, the good news is that there is a solution. You may not be able to fix the economy or create jobs for your family members, but you can stop your addiction from adding fuel to the fire of issues that your family is trying to fight.
