Kevin has been involved in the field of drug and alcohol counseling for over 10 years. Growing up in Georgia, addiction was prevalent in his own household. This passion prompted Kevin to begin a career studying and understanding the various techniques in which to approach and treat patients with drug dependence. Through his many opportunities working in health care, Kevin has developed the understanding that addiction is a disease that needs to be treated with time, care, and understanding. As a member of long-term recovery himself, Kevin is able to promote the values of honesty and integrity in his daily practice.

Searching for Westminster Treatment Programs

As people who have enrolled in Westminster addiction treatment programs can quickly affirm, drugs and alcohol can take a huge toll on your life, your productivity and even your reputation.

Consider the case of Jenna Jameson. This actress was charged with driving under the influence, according to news reports, after she was in a single-car accident in Westminster. Now, her name will be linked with this private incident for years to come. It’s just one example of how addictions can affect lives, but with treatment, things can get better.Tips on Enrolling Into a Rehab Facility

Treatment works, and you can recover from the addictions that are holding you back. When you’ve chosen a Westminster treatment center, the administrators will likely ask you a series of questions about the drugs you used to take, and the doses of drugs you’re accustomed to. In order to prepare for this conversation, consider writing down your answers to these questions:

  • How many times do you use per day?
  • How much do you take in each dose?
  • How do you feel between doses?
  • Do you use alcohol or other drugs, in addition to your primary drug of choice?

Urine Tests Are Common

It’s common for rehab centers to give urine tests, so they can ensure that you’re being completely honest about your answers to their questions. Try not to be insulted if you’re asked to submit urine for a test like this.
