Soba Recovery Center Philosophy
At The SOBA Recovery Center, when we treat the underlying psychological disorders and the symptoms of addiction, we live by the creed that “one size DOES NOT fit all.” The bottom line is we provide treatment modalities that work for you or your loved one. Our addiction treatment center is individualized, meaning we create a custom plan for you.
Areas of Specialization
SOBA Drug Treatment
At SOBA, we have separated ourselves from other drug treatment centers with our belief that addiction is not only a disease- that it is also a side effect of very powerful underlying issues. We know that in order to successfully treat your addiction, we must work with you to address and treat those problems. Our renowned staff of therapists, counselors, personal trainers and medical experts will guide you through a unique process of healing the mind, body, and spirit.
SOBA's Unique Alcohol Treatment
At SOBA, we believe the factors that led you to drink in the first place are as much a crucial part of the disease as the dependency on alcohol itself. In order to best understand this, we can compare this to chronic back pain: if you only take medication to relive the pain, the underlying issues causing the pain will never be addressed. Therefore, is just the "broken" back the disease, or the pain you feel from it? Or both? The same can be applied to addiction. Alcohol treatment that only addresses the cessation of drinking ultimately does nothing to address the true disease. Ultimately, Emotional Sobriety is the goal of our treatment plan.
