Solutions Recovery Center Philosophy
Solutions Recovery Center recognizes alcoholism and drug addiction as a primary disease. The disease affects brain-functioning and physiology, mental health, social, and behavioral functioning and the totality of personal characteristics. The illness if left untreated is a chronic, progressive, and fatal illness. The illness is pervasive and affects not only the individual, but has an impact on all who interact with them. We believe each individual has the right to be treated with respect and dignity as they are valued by society. We believe each individual has the right to treatment, the most appropriate level of treatment, regardless of creed, gender, race, sexual orientation, age, or origin and they have the inherent potential for change and growth.
Areas of Specialization
Addiction recovery does not end with discharge after completing a rehab program. Facilities that offer aftercare planning and/or support work with patients to ensure sustainable recovery by helping to plan and make arrangements for transitional or sober living, help with housing, vocational counseling, etc.
This term describes one-on-one therapy, in which a patient and trained counselor, social worker, psychologist or psychiatrist meets privately with a patient to discuss challenges related to lifestyle, work, family and romantic relationships that may have contributed to the development of an addiction.

ABOUT SOLUTIONS RECOVERY CENTER
Solutions Recovery Center, located in sunny Delray Beach, Fla., offers luxury residential and outpatient treatment for men struggling with substance abuse. Co-occurring mental health disorders are addressed as well. Detoxification services are not offered on-site, though the facility will refer clients in need of detox to an appropriate location.
The facility was founded by an individual who is a recovering alcoholic and now has over 29 years of sobriety; the founder has since become a licensed therapist who has credentials in addiction treatment.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
The residential program offers three lengths of stay: 30, 60, or 90 days. The facility uses what they call a “triangle approach” to recovery - each client works with a primary therapist, a primary counselor, and addictions facilitators.
According to the facility’s website, Solutions focuses on individualized treatment and support. Clients participate in four individual counseling sessions per week, along with 12-step meetings, daily group support meetings and group therapy sessions. Family therapy is also available. A non-denominational, faith-based recovery track, guided by the facility’s chaplain in cooperation with a Buddhist monk, is also available.
A two-phase outpatient program is offered as a step-down from residential treatment.
Finally, the facility offers a Break Free Plan, which is their comprehensive, in-depth aftercare planning program. This is an opt-in service for alumni where a case manager goes with the client back home to provide support to the family, find an aftercare mentor, and make referrals to an aftercare therapist in the community.
The clinical director is a licensed psychologist and oversees a staff of master’s-level therapists and certified addiction counselors. The facility reports a staff-to-client ratio of 1:1.
ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
The 3,000 to 5,000 square-foot residential facilities are high-end and homelike, designed with upscale furnishings and comfortable common living areas. There are 24 beds total, some of which are private rooms. The recovery center has a meditation garden, swimming pool, and soothing group rooms.
Clients enjoy a range of recreational and leisure outings which include beach trips, golf, fishing, snorkeling, park outings, cookouts, museum and gallery tours, and attendance at local community events. Use of personal cell phones and computers is allowed in the facility once a client has been deemed “stable.”
